A newly built Maternity and Infant Center at St. Paul’s Hospital Millennium Medical College (SPHMMC) will start service soon, Amir Aman Hagos Minister of Health (MOH) said today.
Today, Amir visited the complex, which has eight stories and expected to accommodate 450 beds.
Visited the 8 floor and 450-bed Michu Maternal and Children Center in SPHMMC Construction is completed & will be functional in 2 wks, he tweeted this morning.
The new facility will also have six cold rooms which will be used to store medicines and other products that require cold storage temperatures between 2 to 8-degree centigrade.
He finally praises the leadership and staff at the St. Paul Hospital and the Ethiopian Drug Supply Agency for success.
Established in 1968, St. Paul’s Hospital Millennium Medical College provides healthcare and training to its students through its different biomedical and clinical departments.
According to the information from the hospital’s website, The college has more than 2800 clinical, academic and administrative and support staff, While the inpatient capacity is more than 700 beds, The College sees an average of 1200 emergency and outpatient clients daily.
