In its yesterday’s session, the Executive Committee of the Ethiopian People’s Revolutionary Democratic Front (EPRDF) approved manifestos for the party which it agreed to form by merging the four major parties.
Last Saturday, the Executive Committee approved the study conducted to transform the ruling EPRDF into a single national party.
Majority of members of the Executive Committee voted in favor of the study and 6 members voted against it.
After in-depth deliberation and debate, the Committee decided the manifestos to be tabled at the EPRDF’s Council future meeting, said Fekadu Tessema, member of the Executive Committee.
