Amid a deluge of complaints that banking services go down for several days, Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) said it is working to fully restore systems as outage spills into day two.
Due to system problems, CBE customers were facing difficulties to get banking services properly. Over the last three days.
The current system outrage, was due to network and electricity interruptions, said Yeabsira Kebede, communication head at CBE.
The bank is still scrambling to restore normal service after customers were banking services over the past three days, according to Yeabsira.
Last year, CBE, which has 13.3 million account holders and over a thousand branches across the country,
