Bahir Dar City administration announced that the city allocates 390 million birr for infrastructure development.
According to Seid Demeke, city public relations head. The allocated money is planned to built infrastructure projects in the city including 7.4kilometers asphalt road, 30 kilometers, gravel road, and 9.4 kilometers Koble stone roads.
The city also planned to set up three interchange roads with estimate length of 10kilometers. Whereas the allotted money will also be used to build 30 kilometer drainage system.
Besides the city administration also unveiled that a new walkway project stretches from the newly built regional council house to the Nile fall will be commenced in this fiscal year.
Ato Seid Demeke said that the start of the administration will reduce the number of unemployed youths and will be able to maintain the city’s beauty. To this end, Sebastian told us that the “Township Administration” will hold a panel discussion on “Integrated Infrastructure Development,” on December 18/2018.
The consultations of the infrastructure completed in 2010 by the panel and the inaugural training programs of the 2011 budget year will be held with consultants from the region, the city’s top administrators and the city’s residents.
