A four-member of the National Electoral Board of Ethiopia (NEBE) delegation led by the Chairperson Samia Zekaria Gutu is visited Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) two weeks ago to learn about election practices.
Ethiopian authorities are in Zimbabwe to learn how best to conduct an election, associated press reported.
The report mentioned criticisms raised on Zimbabwe Electoral Commission over July’s disputed vote.

Apart from political and economic changes, the newly elected prime minister Abiy Ahmed has promised the public that the country will conduct “ free and fair election’ in 2020.
Like Ethiopia, Zimbabwe has a new leader promising reforms.
According to the report from ZEC considered the visit of the Ethiopian election authorities as a confirmation for conducting an impressive general election on July 2018.
After Zimbabwe conducted the election, main opposition parties challenged the election before a court, alleging manipulation.
It was recalled that Hailemariam Desalegn the former prime minister of Ethiopia chaired the election chaired an election observation mission to Zimbabwe.
