Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) will travel to Germany next week on a first official visit to Europe since he took office in April.
During his visit, the prime minister is expected to meet German Chancellor Angela Merkel and other higher government officials.
August this year, Chancellor Angela Merkel, gave a call to Abiy Ahmed to expressed her support for the ongoing reform in the country and has invited him to visit Germany officially.
Apart from his visit to Germany, the prime minister has planned his visit in a way to meet with Ethiopians in Europe and events are expected to be held in Paris, France, and in Frankfurt, Germany.
According to a report from Fana broadcasting corporate a committee form nearly 80 associations is formed to arrange the welcoming of the prime minister.
Around 25 thousand Ethiopian diaspora community from Germany and its surroundings are expected to attend a programme to be held in support of the current change in the country, according to Mihretab Mulugeta, Consular General in Frankfurt.
At the end of Prime minister, Abiy Ahmed traveled to the United States and hold talks with Ethiopian Diaspora community.
