After battling with kidney-related complications, Fekadu Teklemariam, a renowned actor has died yesterday July 31, 2018,
It is remembered that a medical examination confirmed months ago that both of Fikadu’s kidneys were failed and needs replacement
The news of his death is heard from a religious place called Church of Arsema located near Woldia town, where he was using holy water to get his sickness treated, according to sources.
After his death, the body of Fekadu is sent to Addis Ababa where his permanent resident founds.

Fekadu Teklemariam, 62, a celebrated actor is better known for his extraordinary performances especially playing characters of a King, and it is widely mentioned that Fekadu love of the art since his childhood.
“Esat Sined” which was directed by Abate Mekuria, the brilliant director who has died four years ago, is said to be his first play which Fekadu began his acting career at Ethiopia National Theather, where he has played several performances till his death.
“Tewodros” the play which Fekadu is best known with, Oedipus the king ”, “Hamlet”, “King Armah” are some of the plays where Fikadu shows his outstanding performances at he the famous National Theater, which founds at the center of in Addis Ababa.
Fekadu was born and raised in Addis Ababa, around Arat Kilo, was also well known for acting on Television serial Dramas, Movies, Radio Narrations.
“Bale Guday’’, “Yaltekefele Eda”, “Yeabekyeleshi Nuzaze”, “Gemena” are some of the Television serials for which he is remembered.
The Drama “Bale Guday” had huge public acceptance since it discloses very rooted social problems which people faced in every aspect of life.
Apart from his plays, Fekadu was also worked as a Radio narrator for famous Ethiopian Novels, including “Mogedegnaw Newute”, “Tikur Dem”, “Sabesa” “Wonjelegnawu Dagna”, “ Giracha Kachiloch”, and many agreed that he gives life for the stories in the books.
